이번 웹세미나에서는 Hill Path Capital의 Scott Ross 대표님을 초빙하여, 투자전략과 시장의 트렌드 등에 대한 발표를 들어보도록 하겠습니다.

The travel, lodging, leisure and entertainment sectors have been and are projected to continue to grow faster than GDP as consumers increasingly seek ”experiences “ over “things.”
There has been an uneven recovery across different sectors and geographies, and this trend is likely to continue. Market underestimated the upcoming pent-up demand, and the COVID-10 pandemic is giving way to a strong tailwind. In addition, a rapid increase in demand for travel and leisure activities supplemented by a lack of spending over the past 15 months and a broad money supply from the government is likely to lead to robust activity in the sectors over the next few years.
It's important to understand the key risks/uncertainties like Imperfect COVID-19 recovery, Inflation, Rising Rates/Tapering, and etc.

2. Speaker : Scott Ross (Founder/Managing Partner, Hill Path Capital)

Scott Ross / Founder and Managing Partner
Mr. Ross is the founder and Managing Partner of Hill Path Capital. He was previously a Partner at Apollo Management (which he joined in 2004), responsible for private equity and debt investments in the lodging, leisure, entertainment, consumer and business services sectors. Prior to Apollo, Mr. Ross was a member of the Principal Investment Area in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs Co. and a Member of the Principal Finance Group in the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities Division of Goldman Sachs Co. Mr. Ross was employed by Shumway Capital Partners from August 2008 to September 2009. Mr. Ross currently serves as the Chairman of the board of directors of SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc., and has previously served on the board of directors of Diamond Eagle Acquisition Corp., Great Wolf Resorts, Inc., EVERTEC, Inc. and CEC Entertainment, Inc. (the parent company of Chuck E. Cheese’s and Peter Piper Pizza). Mr. Ross graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.A. degree in Economics and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
